1992 W124 MERCEDES BENZ 300E 24V SALOON 68000 Miles With Superb History Diamond Blue/Black Metallic K300 EKA First registered to a Mr Yetman of Dalton House on the island of Jersey in the 12th August 1992 with the pre delivery inspection being performed by Jacksons MB dealer. They then looked after the car for the majority of its life coming to the UK in 2009, it had only one owner in Jersey, and has had only one keeper in the UK. This is one of the very last of the proper Mercedes ever made. These vehicles are quite simply a joy to drive. The high standard of build quality and durability defined the reputation that MB still exploit today despite that it peaked at this moment. This was the finest luxury car in the world, it was built to a standard that other manufacturers could only gasp at, setting a benchmark of engineering excellence that has not been surpassed to this day. Due to the high cost of German engineering and build quality, the W124 was designed to last many miles, with awards actually given and worn by high mileage versions. This particular example is as good as they get and the entire car has an incredibly appealing ambiance. It is in an unmolested condition with routine consistent servicing and sympathy and heaps of love and care. It has very obviously always been cherished. A general walk around this car and a study of its history will leave you in no doubt that you are looking at one of the best used Mercedes left of its kind. Fully electric seats, electric aerial, sunshine roof, MB mudflaps, all the correct period specification. The first aid kit is even intact. The Mercedes 3.0 24 valve petrol is a legendary bullet proof unit and is so underworked that it will last forever. This example has perfect condition light and airy quality fabric and walnut interior and the carpets are like new. The paint still shines and has suffered little drama in its 24 years. The interior is like new having had a set of seat covers fitted since brand new only being removed when I took ownership. The boot, tools, under bonnet foam etc etc are all in amazing condition. Everything in perfect working order. I have probably overstressed the message already, however this is a very, very nice Mercedes and those who come to see it will be absolutely delighted with what they see. The classic colour scheme can only enhance the long term residual of this we sweety that should be wrapped away once more in a bubble only being brought out on dry days. I have all the paperwork as pictured in the extensive photo gallery that should leave little to doubt. A considerable amount of paperwork including all manuals. £POA |
