1987 PORSCHE 944 TURBO
Engine & Body Restoration
25 Service Stamps
Truly A Design Classic

|
E973 LJF
First registered and inspected 01.09.1987 by Monarch Porsche in
Warwick
this is a UK RHD example finished in Alpine white in fine
condition in
all areas as the many images show.
The originality of this with the temptation to deviate
specification is now
starting to pay dividends. The classic lines are enhanced with
the stock
wheels & suspension crucial to the not only the ride and road
compliance
but also, the stance. The original leather wallet with handbooks
and service
booklets are intact with no less than twenty-five stamps, the
book was complete
many years ago. Considerable documentation supporting a thorough
engine
and body restoration over the course of last six years with
fortunes spent.
Body
The paintwork is excellent and not the typical rubbish you might
expect,
none of the reputed areas require any attention, the colour is
classic
Porsche and really gleams with hardly any marks at all worth
comment aside
minor stone chips. Very tidy lower waist too, the sills are
clean and the arches
are rot free also.
Wheels
Fresh original D90 alloys with brand new tyres all round with
the factory
correct 225 50 fronts 245 45 16 rear set up. Wheels are stunning
with a
perfect finish and have zero marks to note.
Cabin
The cabin is very straight and unspoiled in keeping with the low
miles, the
carpets are clean, dry and in good order, with all switchgear
working.

Summary
One Of The Most Complete Classic Porsches I have Seen In Years!
To this end it is an excellent introduction to the world of
Porsche
Turbocharging, this vehicle will still accelerate to 60 in and
around
the 6 secs area and push on past a lot more than you or I dare
ever take
it, all with analogue feel.
