1993 Porsche 968 Coupe 6 Speed Manual Outstanding Pristine Show Class Condition Meticulous Paperwork Rare Air Con Option An Appreciating Model To Keep The pinnacle of Porsche's continuous development of its original 4cyl water cooled front engine, even today for the purist driver it remains a sensation almost unequaled in any other Sports car. The 968 is the ultimate evolution of that classic formula that had been refined since the late 70s. There is no substitute for condition, this 968 has been with the same owners for nearly 20 years since it was a far younger car and has never been stressed or abused and as such is in remarkable order. First registered 06.02.1993 by Porsche cars GB in Reading. This is a matching numbers car as it left the factory and has never been recorded as having been in any accidents, has clean title and HPi. The service records are huge, a folder that is inches thick dating all the way back, inclusive of a complete paper MOT record. The original leather wallet contains all the drivers handbooks and the service booklet that is complete with stamps. Two keys and two remote security fobs, a perfect condition leather tool roll, space saver wheel, jack, alloy security wheel key and luggage blind. Highly original with spec as it left the factory. Note all the correct amber lenses and side repeaters are boxed and come with the car. All factory labels correct to the boot, b post, petrol flap, under engine, and on the glass. The service record makes very good reading being maintained by OPC and other independents. Accompanying the fully stamped service book is an equally impressive presentation folder with £000s of bills and all previous mots. It has truly been a loved car. The alloys are perfect, and the tyres are all matching Continentals full of tread. The brakes are perfect. The timing belt and all roller belts and tensioners were changed in 2020. Total mileage covered is 139000. Condition The metallic paint work is truly stunning with no imperfections. A light detailing session reveals a truly beautiful car with quality finish and no disappointing cosmetics. The whole car received an in-depth paint job during covid months. This was a glass out back to bare metal exercise, prior to this the paint finish was original with zero rust though with inevitable weathering. There are paint jobs and paint jobs, this is excellent, with a wet glossy finish and poker straight mirror panels. The alloys refinished recently by the wheel specialist have colored crested center's. All the black work and seals that can perish over time is equally fresh. The interior carpets to boot and floor are excellent. The dash is in excellent condition and all switchgear works as intended. The Porsche scripts seats are in excellent condition with no repairs or any wear worth comment. The headlining is excellent. The roof pops in and put with no gear or motor issues. The remote boot works properly, etc etc. The engine bay is truly immaculate. Peeling the carpet away in the boot reveals how original it truly is. I have inspected the underside and was amazed at how clean and dry it is with no corrosion and needless to say, no leaks. Anyone would struggle to source a better 968 and one that is properly set up ready to be enjoyed. Every area of this car is serviceable and immaculate, every surface and detail.
