First registered and pre delivery inspected by Dick Lovett Porsche 23.10.2023. This is a very highly specified C4S with the essential manual gearbox and no sunroof coupled with an absolutely superb service record with many major jobs completed over the years as documented below. The car is complete with a massive history file, all owners manuals, leather wallet and two original supplied keys. The filed documentation is inspiring, rarely have I had a Porsche with such a detailed paper history. Its 100 % on point ready to be used with no shortcomings. The vehicle shows 5 previous owners and has covered a modest 111,000 miles which is largely irrelevant given the maintenance it has received, you could buy one with half these miles that is nowhere close to being as well sorted.
This is a matching numbers car as it left the factory and has no recorded accident damage or adverse history in its past. The condition of this C4S is fantastic and beyond reproach, we have handled many similar models as can be evidenced on our database of Porsches sold and this one is stand out.

Service History/ Work Completed
As stated above the paper records comprise a thick binder dating back to when the car was only a few years old, after totting it all up it totals a staggering £42545, needless to say it is unlikely that a better maintained C4S will be found.

No expense has been spared by previous owners. In long term ownership prior to the most recent owner who owned the car from June 2012 until February 2024. The history is massive with a huge paper trail with an extensive record of invoices. Service receipts going back to 2008 and is a mixture of Porsche approved, Porsche specialist and Independent. The receipts total a whopping £42500 . There are 11 service stamps in the book plus 8 brake fluid change stamps.
For the majority of its life it has been looked after by David Phillips Porsche specialist in Edinburgh.

What follows below is just a fraction of some of the more relevant works carried out, it barely scratches the surface and is simply too much to write, I am happy to answer any specific questions.

In Feb 23 an oil leak developed originating from the cylinder head, the engine was removed and the head was stripped and reconditioned replacing other things along the way including a new oil cooler plus much other common sense components worth doing whilst in there. At this stage a new clutch & flywheel were fitted, this at a cost of nearly £6000 alone.

Summary
In the real world the C4S is all the 911 anyone will ever need and is much sought after by
enthusiasts, in setting other exotics aside it can also be argued the most enjoyable car of
the 996 series. The C4S is also among the few select Porsche models appreciating steadily,
however, that value is often diminished on a car whose maintenance has been less than thorough. To that end the advice is to always buy on condition and history. Buy a good one now while they are still affordable.
