First registered and pre delivery inspected by Porsche centre
Kendall 01.03.08 and showing only 3 previous owners though in
real terms only 2 as the 3rd only owned for a week taking it in
part exchange. This is a textbook purchase, in that it has a
sublime specification and all the correct jobs done that one
would want to wish to quality check prior to buying. The classic
rear wheel drive 6-speed manual 911 Carrera formula with sunroof
delete for the purist driver.
Finished in Carrara White. A unique specification, the headline
being the Aero Cup kit among a raft of Porsche Exclusive Options
fitted to this car from new alongside much more as detailed
below. The service history is fantastic as laid out in plain
terms afoot. The condition is as good as anyone will find and is
certainly the best of its kind currently advertised.
This 997.1 Carrera 2 S features the now very rare six speed
manual gearbox, fitted with the rear mounted 3.8 litre flat six
engine that produces 376 bhp and propels the C2S to 60mph in 4.7
seconds, on to 188mph should you dare.
Service History
A full Official Porsche Centre (OPC) and Specialist service
history. Detailed below are some of the more major jobs carried
out of late with a total spread of bills in the folder amounting
to just under £19000. In April last year at 40000 miles the car
was bore scored with supporting images and was found to be
clear. All service and brake fluid services have been pictured
in the gallery.
Covered a mere 45,000 miles and has been looked after by its
former keepers regardless of cost. The car is HPI clear, with a
current MOT July 26 with no advisories. Two Porsche remote keys,
leather owner’s wallet with all manuals, and a thick folder of
all bills.
Condition
The paint is in remarkable condition with nothing worth any
comment aside some small abrasions on the lower front spoiler
lip. The whole car has been recently ceramic coated and is
pretty much flawless. The interior and all touch points look and
feel as new.
Equally the load area and under the bonnet look as new.
Wheels, Tyres and Brakes
Fitted with the Porsche Exclusive order 19-inch Carrera Sport
lightweight alloy wheels, which are in unmarked condition, free
of damage and corrosion with a diamond cut lip.
The brake discs and pads are in excellent condition presenting
as new. The tyres are all matching Pirelli P zeros, the rears
have about 5mm and the fronts have just been replaced.
The red callipers are in perfect condition.

Summary
This a sublime example of the 997 S Coupe with the purist choice
of manual gearbox with
a superb specification and detailed service record, needing
no money spent on it for
some time. All the due diligence has been applied by the
previous owner, taking any
worries firmly off the table.
For the purist this is last and best of the naturally aspirated
engines, this 3.8 S is
all the 911 anyone would ever need, in this classic set of up of
rear wheel drive and
manual gearbox you don’t drive this car, you dance with it.
Having owned/driven many
Turbo and GT products this is the sweet spot.
