2010 AUDI R8 V10 Spyder Gated Manual
Coveted Sepang Blue
36,000 Miles
Full Carbon
Topspeed Exhaust
Full-Service History
  OV60 YBN
First registered and pre delivery inspected by Paragon Audi oxford, specified extremely well, complete with a full-service record consisting of nine services a mixture of dealer and recognised specialists, its wanted for nothing. Just had a fresh MOT and battery, all tyres are premium, the car is on point ready for use. A thick folder of bills accompany, inclusive of a new clutch & flywheel for peace of mind.
The standard specification is obviously high for the flagship model, with heated seats, Bang & Olufsen hi-fi and rear camera. This one further benefits from complete carbon pack, the essential 20 " diamond cut alloys, and a flat bottom wheel. An aftermarket Topspeed sports exhaust system has been fitted which bring the V10 Lambo engine to life, sounding
absolutely incredible.

I am no stranger to this model having one of my own in the stable for over three years, in exact same colour and specification, and its stayed there for the reason that in this price range there is nothing realistically that touches it, you cannot get better.
Exotic Italian engine, gated manual V10 all the while doing that wind in your hair thing, sure it’s a bit of a poser’s car, and what’s wrong with that? This isn’t no dress rehearsal.
Also, I think the first gen R8s are arguably the best looking of the series and have stopped depreciating now. Its not just a one-dimensional car, though is very, very fast and extremely capable, which ticks the first box...

The engine is stuff of legend, seamlessly blurring shifts and acceleration into one thrilling crescendo, the enduring highlight that remains is the naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 Lamborghini engine coupled to a slick weighted gated shifter that one never tires of throwing, the 8500 rpm limit is almost bike like, coupled to a sense of solidity to the R8's construction with no nasty shudders or wobbles even when attacking properly evil stretches of British B-road. The harder you drive the Spyder, the more
you realise why features like dynamic steering, and magnetic dampers are required to contrive that sense of agility, it’s a big car, but manages not to feel so on turn in.

Summary
The V10 1st gen Spyder is the most underrated car of its type, but it simply has to be
fitted with the manual gearbox, because then it is the most complete driving experience
imaginable, and I have found that the manuals are coveted and held onto by their owners.
The V10 is monumentally fast, but it’s also involving. All the contact points with the
driver are well judged, from the tactile precise gearchange to the pedals that encourage
blip-down changes. The R8 steers with a delicious precision and weight that tells you just
enough about what’s going on and it’s fast-geared enough to enable flick-flacks through
tighter corners. Driving nirvana, you won’t find better.
