This is one of the very last of the proper Mercedes ever made. These vehicles are quite simply a joy to drive. The high standard of build quality and durability defined the reputation that MB still exploit today despite that it peaked at this moment. This was the finest luxury car in the world, it was built to a standard that other manufacturers could only gasp at, setting a benchmark of engineering excellence that has not been surpassed to this day. Due to the high cost of German engineering and build quality, the W124 was designed to last many miles, with awards actually given and worn by high mileage versions. This particular example is as good as you'd hope to find and the entire car has an incredibly appealing ambiance. It is in an unmolested condition with routine consistent servicing and sympathy and heaps of love and care. It has very obviously always been cherished. A general walk around this car and a study of its history will leave you in no doubt that you are looking at one of the best used Mercedes left of it's kind. Fully electric seats, electric aerial, one touch reclining roof, all the correct period specification. The first aid kit is even intact. The Mercedes 3.2 24 straight six valve petrol is a legendary bullet proof unit and is so underworked that it may well just last forever. This example has perfect condition light and airy quality leather and walnut interior. The paint still shines and has suffered little drama in it's 24 years. The leather faces on the chairs would appear to belie the mileage of the car, these look more like 20,000 miles(?) such is the quality of the materials used. The boot, tools, under bonnet foam etc. are all in amazing condition and everything in good working order. I have probably overstressed the message already, however this is a very, very nice Mercedes and those who come to see it will be absolutely delighted with what they see. It's not quite perfect, I think I spotted a little cluster of pimples coming through somewhere, but you can walk round this one and count the incidentals with one hand with fingers left to spare, now that is not bad for a 1993 car. The classic colour scheme can only enhance the long term residual of this sweetie that should be wrapped away once more in a bubble only being brought out on dry days. I have all the paperwork as pictured in the extensive photo gallery that should leave little to doubt. A considerable amount of paperwork including all manuals. The owners pack is there and a lovely addition you just won't ever see again, the factory leather care set, unopened, I nearly fell of my seat.
