Fantastic Used Audi

First pre delivery inspected and registered by Stirling Audi on 01.03.2004
to the first owner a Mr Mcinnes of Lanark. When the car was one year and
eleven months old he traded it back into the supplying dealer and they sold it
as part of the approved used Audi programme. The second owner who has owned
the 11 years since has put nearly all the miles on as this was his daily driver
that doubled up as the family car and used annually for trips into Europe.
As an Inspector in the Traffic Police he maintained his car to a high standard
with a proactive approach taken to maintenence as opposed to recating to issues
as they arise. It has been extremely well looked after, as an example this
Audi is incredibly still on its original clutch, and it feels as good as new
to drive. Original sales invoice present detailing the cost of the car and
the historical advert from that time in the file.

The 1.9 Tdi 130 Engine - Best Tried & Tested Diesel In The World...
In layman's terms arguably the finest performance diesel production
engine tried and tested thus far in the engineering world. Economy is
class leading with the ability to achieve over 55 mpg as a mere average
and this one offers up equivalent torque of some modern day sports
cars. This car for some apparent absolutely fly's, with excellent
fuel returns from this powerful efficient Audi engine. The 1.9 PD
engine emits only 146g/km of CO2. How many Audi diesels
of this age have had one owner/driver - Very very few indeed.

Service Information - 11 Service Stamps
This car has received a lot of care. Eleven service stamps in the book
complimented by a thick folder of bills that go back to day one, inclusive
of a full MOT history. Every owners manual is present with two leather
owners packs, and two remote folding keys. All the tools are intact as is
the spare wheel, the luggage blind and dog guard, plus a custom design
fit dog guard and full set of mats. The tyres are all matching Kuhmos.
Some recent work undertaken is set out below.

In Feb this year it had an annual service with oil & filter using Shell
Helix Ultra HX7 Pro 5W 30 motor oil. The braking system was overhauled with
complete new set of brake discs and pads all round with quality items.
New Bosch wiper blades also fitted. Other recent work has included a new
o/s/r spring, the exhaust heatshield has been replaced with a brand new
one, the wiper linkage refurbished, new front drop links, plus a new glove
box (common A4 fault).

Condition
The cabin is one of ambience and clunk clink German functionality,
everything from the positioning of the heater control to the white
glow dials are thoroughly thought out within the correct ergonomics.
This A4 has come from a good home and been driven by a professional
driver so despite the mileage I would argue that this has prolonged
the life of many components.

On The Road
Everything about the car contributes to a driving experience of
confidence and quietude, from the smooth-purring engine, to the
crisp but silky transmission, to a supple but composed ride. No
faults to be found and the car feels particularly solid underneath
with a light fluid feel to all the controls. No warning lights, and
dare I say it, it drives like an Audi that is a few years old, I have
noted over the years that the run out 1.9 tdi pd engines are absolutely
superb with none of the common issues associated with the later
2.0 tdi.
