M3
First registered and pre delivery inspected 07.01.2012 by BMW
Bromley this is a late edition model with a superb specification
and service history. Being the rarer LCI model it features all
the added enhancements associated with the end of line cars.
It’s in stock condition with zero modifications or deviations
from standard spec with an attractive low mileage. The two
recommended preventative measures linked with E92 V8
ownership have been addressed. This is of course fully hpi clear
with clean title.
In the last week a considerable sum has been spent preparing the
car for sale, with new premium tyres and a quality wheel refurb,
new performance front discs and mintex pads, a brake fluid
change, and oil and filter service and a pro wheel alignment.
A two day detailing session followed on what was already a very
tidy low mileage car, the whole vehicle, including leather
sealing and full ceramic coating to all panels inclusive of roof
and wheels.
This is a textbook purchase and comfortably the most complete
E92 model on the market competitively priced bar none. Read
below to discover the history on this example, the devil is in
the detail. As such its very much a future proofed ready to use
or store.
Specification
A high factory specification, a £52910 base price with £7040 of
factory added options weighed this costly example in at a
smidgen under 60k on the road. The Silverstone shade lends
itself very well to the design cues of the car, all the wee M
tweaks such as bumper bonnet and wing definition are clearly
contrasted, a visual feature lost with the darker shades.
Many E92 models have been upgraded with loud exhausts, air
intakes, plenums etc. The spec on the car is entirely standard,
nothing has been changed from OEM spec.
Service History & Maintenance
11 engine services with extra work as listed. The most recent
owner of five years lavished care on it and routinely serviced,
its been serviced every year with a mix of dealer and
indys. Serviced for good measure again this week plus other work
as below, in August 23 service the spark plugs and two coils
were also changed, as well as new exhaust clamps.
Rod Bearings & Actuators
The rod bearings were changed in 2016 quite early on as a
preventative measure by Germantech (German car specialists) at a
cost of £1300 with receipt, the issue is blown a bit of of
proportion, it does not appear to affect all cars and this issue
the engine is very durable and generally gives no other worries.
The actuators have been rebuilt by Jason Bayliff in April 22,
the units are now laser etched and have a lifetime guarantee.
At most recent service this week the whole car was health
checked with no issues. The current MOT expires September this
year.
