2000 PORSCHE BOXSTER 3.2 S MANUAL (240) 986 RHD Fantastic Original Condition Appreciating Modern Classic Lady Owned Last 12 Years 91000 Miles First registered in UK by 20th July 2000 this is the first of the early and now collectable flagship S models. This is a matching numbers car with all original factory panels and has never been involved in any accidents or mishaps. Starting to become rather scarce now, sourcing a clean straight original sensible miles S can be a lonely affair, early 3.2 examples that have not been modified with aftermarket wheels lenses and exhausts are thin on the ground. This car has been in long term ownership of a mature lady, as such its not been driven harshly at all and has covered very few miles. Sadly, she had to trade her 986 for a 918 model with PDK as her left hip could no Longer bear the manual gearbox. Its a really complete whole car with shiny non faded panels, and a roof thats in excellent condition. The interior is unspoiled also with clean unworn leather. Front and rear load areas are tidy with no damage or dirt. Aside the odd superficial mark given its age its in very sharp condition. Two keys, leather owner's wallet with service and owner handbooks. Spacesaver wheel etc. Not many as honest and original as this. Chassis : WPOZZZ98ZYU641618 Engine : 6Y11028 Colour : Guards Red/ Metropole Blue Roof Cabin : Metropole Blue leather comfort seats Peace Of Mind - Service History This has been extremely well looked after, maintained for a long period of time by Motortune Porsche specialist with many bigger jobs undertaken as detailed below during her tenure. Current MOT is May 23. - New radiator - New air intake - New coolant tank - Front brake discs and pads replaced - New front track rod ends - New arb - New rear discs and pads - New rear brake pipes - New water pump - New steering rack - New front brake pipes - New driver's window regulator - 2 new coolant hoses - Spark plugs changed - New coil spring- The Boxster 3.2 S The Boxster became the yardstick by which all other sports cars were judged, including Porsche’s own 911. It blends thrilling performance and excellent road holding with surprising practicality (the Boxster effectively has two boots) and impressive build quality. Mechanically superb and fully tried and tested, with a smooth quiet engine, no areas of concern. The 3.2 S being one of the most vocal units in Porsches range, beyond 4500 rpm it is a superb howl. Handling is as exemplary as expected from a Porsche that boasts near perfect weight distribution. The depth of engineering is instantly apparent not to mention enormously confidence inspiring. The hood drops electrically in a matter of moments, the optional wind deflector kit a must, at 75 mph with the top down and the windows up the cockpit is almost wind free, remarkable... Summary The majority of the earlier Boxster's cars are starting to look quite rough round the edges and for those of you who may have traveled to view the " mint example " that subsequently and predictably turns out to be not quite as described - this could well be the car for you. A loved car, that is clear from the first glance, and very genuine. Maintained extremely well and no expense has been spared. Call me for a chat and I will cover any questions you have.
