Excellent Boxster S
The 3.2 6 speed manual is the Boxster to have. These are
fabulous roadsters and perhaps the best of it's type. This 986
car is leaps and bounds ahead of the newer models, the new
latest new cars feel like Mazda's.. this car feels like a well
crafted piece of machinery
- heavy and revvy and with the 3.2, you get all the power you
need too.
This particular 986 is in very good order, some £6000 of bills
in the last 2000 miles including all shocks, springs, brakes,
tyres and so much more, this Boxster is exemplary and ready to
turn the key. Condition belies the mileage - and you should
always buy a classic Porsche based upon it's condition.
Peace Of Mind - Service History
This Boxster has been extremely well looked after. Accompanied
with a service record from main dealers and good specialists. It
has just had a major overhaul over the suspension and braking
system and new tyres, it's had the IMS and RMS and clutch done
too, future proofed.
Condition
Presents really well with minimal marks, it has a very clean
appearance all round and exudes a low mileage quality and shine,
it'll will look great in any collection. The cabin is a delight,
with this high spec it looks and feels just like a 911 with it's
leather doors and dashboard, the passenger seat looks like it
has hardly been sat on. All is in working order, the roof works
fine and is presentable with no holes or ragged seams. The drive
is wonderful, solid and tight and it has all of it's power.
Wheels Tyres & Brakes
18' GT3 2 piece alloys are immaculate. They have recently been
refurbished, however they have been taken apart and done
correctly, the screw bolts are like new, they have not been
painted over.
The tyres are all as new Uniroyal's. All brakes discs and pads
are new and in perfect order.
Premium tyres, immaculate rims with fresh bolts and new brakes,
it all adds up to a lovely eyeful and tells you everything you
need to know about the previous keepers attitude to maintenance. |
