PS06 CTS
First registered & pre delivery inspected by Porsche Chiswick,
London on
29.04.2006. This Cayenne Turbo S is an impressively versatile
high-performanceS UV, offered in sound condition with a
desirable factory specification.
The vehicle has been driven and enjoyed, but has a solid
maintenance history, the odometer shows a mere 102400 miles from
new.
I have two original remote keys, the leather owners wallet
containing every
manual, warning triangle, toolkit ???. The full V5 and a nice
spread of bills.
The vehicle is totally HPi clear. The infotainment system has
been brought
up to date with a new PCCM unit from Porsche dealer at £1300
cost with receipt and greatly adds to the usability of the car.
It has a superb service record from recognized specialists with
a a recent main dealer OPC service this year (more details
below). The most recent owner has spent £7600 as mentioned above
maintaining, improving and future proofing the car, all to its
credit.
Type 9PA Turbo S
Under the bonnet sits a twin-turbocharged 4.5-litre V8,
producing 514bhp and 531lb-ft of torque, driven through all four
wheels via a six-speed Tiptronic transmission with steering
wheel-mounted shift buttons.
At its launch in 2006, the Turbo S was the ultimate Cayenne,
only being made for 2006 model year. The S version remains an
astonishing machine today, the engine produces a full 70bhp more
than the already potent Turbo – and propelled the Turbo S from
0-62mph in just 5.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 167mph.
Uprated suspension ensures that the S handles like a sports car,
while revised brakes cope with the astonishing power. It’s a
remarkably fun car to drive, yet eminently practical. It’s rare
too, as the S was only made for a short time ( one year) and,
when new, was incredibly expensive.
This example is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with 20-inch
Sport-techno alloy wheels, non sunroof, roof rails and rear
privacy glass. The interior is full black leather with aluminium
trim and an Alcantara roof lining, and boasts a very high
specification. Options include PCM (Porsche Communication
Management) with sat-nav and Bose sound package.
The front and rear seats are heated, while the fronts are fully
electric with
memory control; the steering column is also electrically
adjustable. There’s a heated multifunction steering wheel, front
and rear climate control, cruise
control, auto dipping rear-view mirror, automatic headlamps,
automatic wipers.
There’s also heated door mirrors. The Cayenne features air
suspension with a choice of Comfort, Normal and Sports settings,
to suit your driving style, as standard.
Service History & Bills £7600 of Bills.
The Porsche comes with a well-documented service history and has
clearly been properly maintained. It’s in very good condition,
inside and out, with just a few signs of use, as one would
expect of a car of its age.

Summary
This Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is a lovely example of the marque’s
eminently
capable high-performance SUV, offered in highly original
condition with a desirable
factory specification. Pronounced the world’s fastest off-roader
at the time of
its launch, it not only boasts outright pace, but sharp
handling, year-round
usability, and a luxuriously-appointed cabin. It would make a
smart addition to
any assembly of modern classics, and a thrilling yet
impressively practical
companion for weekend blasts, long-distance family road-trips,
and rapid daily
driving alike.
