1988 BMW 325i Touring Fully Restored Show Car Marrakesh Brown Sunroof 116k Be Quick Subject to a complete body restoration a few years ago and dry stored when not in use, being taken to shows and used in summer months. The car was originally Lachs Silver with an auto gearbox, which has since been converted. A wonderful hue of Brown which shimmers and is a chameleon when the light reflects, a very impressive looking vehicle. All areas to the body were addressed when restored and the underside has been tidied and presents wonderfully. Mechanically superb, right off the button, smooth and quiet sewing machine of an engine that pulls hard through the gears and uses or drops no oil, the clutch and drivetrain are excellent with no whines from the box or the diff. The exhaust has been upgraded to a full s/s part which brings the six - cylinder note to life. H&R springs fitted for aesthetics, though not harsh and very comfortable on the move. The interior is not original obviously and was transplanted from an E46. The dash and all touch points are in excellent condition, the three spoke M wheel finishes the cabin. All four BBS alloys are straight and true with virtually no marks, shod with a recent matching of Toyo tyres. The boot carpet is unspoiled with working roller blind. The headlining is in good shape. The respray was pretty comprehensive, into all door shuts with the only area not being addressed under the engine on top of the suspension turrets. The MOT expires at the end of the month so will refresh this, which will be a simple formality. The car is a spectacle to look at and drives every bit as good as they did back in the day.
