There’s a mid-mounted V10 engine, all-wheel drive, and to keep the weight down the chassis is a composite blend of alloy stampings and castings, and the exterior is constructed of thermoplastic formed panels. The original 5.0 displaced ten cylinder has a unique character and immense power, its widely accepted that the early 5.0 is the more dramatic engine and when coupled with the manual shift and correct exhaust set up is vocally intoxicating, listening to this car on song is guaranteed to make any driver feel wholly alive, and its unforgettable. You could drop 70K into other cars but few if any will offer the exotic prestige of Lamborghini ownership, and the Gallardo is the entry point into the marques ownership. The spyder is a great car, though not the original formula and compromised. The gated manual coupe is the full fat driver version.
