First registered 23.08.93 by Craigside Mercedes in Harrogate
this now incredibly rare GES model is complete with a 30-stamp
service record and £35000 of physical bills, also having just
had a service by MB dealer last week to present for sale
alongsidean MOT. The current mileage is 110,241.
Coming direct from an impressive bespoke collection which
included a 500E & and an elusive 190 Evolution as its
stablemates amongst many others all stored in a temp controlled
de humidified environment. The condition in out & underside is
fantastic, wholly factory correct throughout retaining all the
design quirks of what is a motoring icon. I have several keys,
the full book pack plus a binder detailing a complete history
that is fully comprehensive.
The ownership history is reasonably transparent as follows. The
first owner
was the supplying dealer and was registered from new on L430 LWR
by Craigside Limited and used by them as a demonstration
vehicle. Owners two & three are unknown. A Mr. Webb from
Chichester acquired Vehicle 25/7/97 from Wheelhouse retailer
with an invoice covering the sale making him the fourth keeper.
The fifth owner a Mr. Teague from Gloucester acquired the
vehicle 11/3/07
on reg A6 TGE. The sixth owner a Mr. H from Edinburgh acquired
the vehicle
15/10/12 From G Centre, Worcestershire with receipt confirming
purchase.
The seventh owner a Mr. W from Perth acquired the vehicle
25/10/20 and has owned to date.
Geländewagen
Developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of
Iran then being offered as a civilian version in 1979. The
G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest
produced Mercedes-Benz vehicles in their history with a span of
over forty-six years. The W463-era G-Wagen was released in 1990,
with the intention of raising the comfort standards with eyes
fixed on the contemporary Range Rover market. The 463 model is
arguably the sweet spot, with any temptation on this car to
alter anything being resisted, the original styling and everyday
usability is intact. This is a very special and late production
G300.
Service History & Maintenance £35000
Total Invoices for routine maintenance and general search for
perfection from 2012 to date…. £35,000 plus. Which is mirrored
with the fact that since 2006, there has been only one MOT with
an advisory noted. No expense spared is a commonly used phrase,
but this 300GES is the epitome of this phrase…..
NO EXPENSE SPARED! Pretty much no stone has been left unturned.
