2010 BMW M3
E90 SALOON V8 MANUAL LCI FACELIFT 50134 Miles - Total Service History - 11 Services Big End Bearing Replacement - Massive History File Appreciating M Asset - Last Of The Magic First registered and pre delivery inspected by BMW Park Lane 29.03.2010, a complete service record with all manuals and M leather folder, the car still wears its original supplying dealer plates and rear window decal. This is a textbook purchase and comfortably the most complete E90 model on the market bar none. Read below to discover the history on this example, the devil is in the detail. Optional Factory Specification - Space Grey metallic - 19 " Diamond cut alloys - PDC rear - Xenons - Leather novillo black - Navigation Pro - Electric front seats (drivers memory) - Heated seats - Interior mirror auto dip - Titan shadow interior trim - Headlamp power wash - DAB radio - Phone preparation - Light package Service History - All stamps pictured - All service requirements pictured The car has a very low mileage, however this does not make it immune from bearing failure, I couldn’t take the risk for myself or the next owner as the cost to replace the engine far outweighs the preventative maintenance. Personally, I would not invest in a V8 M3 without clear evidence of this being done or at least money set aside to cover the cost of it as quickly as possible after purchase. The good news is that once done properly the engines are bombproof. I chose a highly regarded specialist in this field to do the work, using genuine BMW parts I had a full health check carried out and attended to anything advised. The engine mounts had small splits in the rubber so they were replaced and the power steering system fluid was also changed. A no holds barred approach to maintenance with oil analysis history with service campaigns. Current MOT until 08.03.2023 The whole job is fully documented and illustrated in a series of images neatly stored on a USB stick so there can be no uncertainty. This includes the big end bearing replacement and pictures of crank journal condition, bearing clearance & bearing condition. All crank journals were found in good condition. All bearing clearances measure 0.002” which is within manufacturer’s specifications. All bearings removed were in good condition and have been kept as part of the history. The health check was extensive and found nothing outstanding on the whole car, I am happy for anyone to speak with the technician. A thick folder of bills extending to over 8k of recent expenditure, a summary of which is below. - Road bearings replaced, all gaskets’ seals as above - PAS fluid changed - Engine mounts replaced - Oil and filter changed - Rear brake pads changed - Brake caliper replaced - Inlet manifold replaced - Oil filter housing gasket replaced - Aux belts replaced - Diff input shaft seal replaced - Diff oil changed - Air filter, microfilter pollen filter changed - DSC sensors replaced - New n/s/f under shield replaced - Wheel alignment Condition The body is pristine aside the odd superficial stone chip. The interior is immaculate. The underside is according to the mastertech the best he has ever seen. I repeat, no jobs outstanding. His comments were the car is superb and was a total pleasure to work on. Alloys/Tyres The rims retain a clean-cut diamond finish with next to no marks. The tyres are all the correct matching Michelin Pilot Super Sport variants thick with tread. Wheel alignment is correct and up to date. I challenge anyone to find a cleaner straighter more detailed car with a more comprehensive service file with all jobs done, superb specification and a future proofed engine, it ticks every box. £28,999 |
