This is a supreme example that has been owned by an enthusiast
and been maintained both cosmetically and mechanically to a very
high standard. Unlike many this F90 has not been modified, the
car is plentiful quick out the box offering a dynamic drive.
For the Competition upgrade, BMW breathed on the S63m
twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8, raising power to 616bhp offering
superlative to the feedback to the brave/skilled driver. On the
right road with the right tyres and weather very little can
touch them. I have owned all the M5 incarnations and the F90 is
really a super car, you can’t really go faster and more composed
with 4 doors. Giving boundless all-wheel drive traction from
that decouplable two-axle system, with huge punch when 553lb ft
of torque arrives at 1,800rpm, and a 6,000rpm crescendo that
makes keeping to the speed limit a nonstop challenge. The
eight-speed torque converter is never less than instantaneous in
manual mode, or less than happy to let the motor lug it out when
left to its own devices. It’s as exciting as it gets.
Optional Factory Added Spec:
The specification is extremely desirable, not all M5s come as
well equipped as this, the devil is in the details, and this
examples exceptional condition.
Spec is all down to what you need, for me the standout options
on this car
aside the paint/trim scheme that round off the experience are
remote tailgate and rear camera, it would be less of an
experience without these. The speaker system is also very loud
and clear and the high beam assist works well at night.
Service History & Maintenance
Full dealer history with a major service just carried out
06.05.25 by Dick Lovett Swindon (detailed below). This car needs
absolutely nothing, runs beautifully returning 24-25 mpg across
a tank of 99 with all driving styles. All tyres and brakes are
in top condition with much life. Currently shod with a matching
set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
Exterior
The paintwork is in superb condition throughout. The car has
recently received a full detail leaving the body with a perfect
finish, however, this was a labour of love as the paint was so
well preserved and maintained that this was a light job.
All glass lenses grills lights plates and badges are in
excellent condition.
Interior
The upholstery is the one to have, the sports are all in
first-rate condition
with no discernible wear to the leather, nothing to comment on,
the carpets and boot are immaculate. Everything works exactly as
it should, all systems
are working correctly.
Alloys & Tyres
The original alloys are all in great condition with premium
rubber.
