The far superior conventional 6 speed automatic box made available from 2007 (as an option) over the flawed duo select allows you to explore more of this car more of the time, and when doing so the wonderful symphony from those crackling Larini exhausts comes to life, sounds as good as a V12 Aston. Equally, the big Maserati is fast, composed and secure on sweeping open roads thanks to its skyhook suspension system. The car looks and drives remarkably well with no current issues, all systems working correctly with no warning lights. It’s an awful lot of Italian exotica for the money, this is basically a 4 door Ferrari, and this one sounds like one too.
