  The XJS
The iconic luxury grand tourer that requires no introduction, a British
GT of unique style and character, and for those who adore them still one
of the worlds greatest cars, very few vehicles have a sense of arrival as
Browns lane finest. Its not just style it oozes, compared to modern day
GTs the XJ-S ride is as comfortable as your favorite easy chair, almost
unequalled. The XJ-S is now a fixture on the classic scene though finding
a good one can take time, however if you stumble upon it, grab it, and
you’ll have an extraordinary machine that will oblige you with long
distance refinement and silky performance. The longest serving Jaguar of
them all, still serving.

History
Coming to us from part of a large collection, this is an enthusiast owned
Jaguar that has been a regular on the show scene. The servicing extends to a comprehensive file of paperwork including all the historic service receipts documenting a lifetime of care. All previous MoT certificates are present too.
Specced in arguably the finest combination of Ice Blue metallic, with a remarkable grey half leather and tweed upholstery with walnut veneer fascia's.
The 4-litre in later 240bhp form is easily the best and servicing is not complicated at all, I personally drove this vehicle from Manchester to Glasgow and it was to be one of the memorable drives of my time, it is faultless.
This Jaguar has an advisory free MoT history, totally unblemished.
The registration number is J310 ANT

Body
The bodywork really is in virtual concourse condition for a car of this
age and better than any other one I have seen, it stops people in their
tracks. There is no disappointment and the condition has to be seen to be
believed. All chrome is glistening and there is hardly even a stone chip to discuss.

Cabin
The interior is a wonderful place to be, totally silent and cosseting the
occupants whilst the vehicle goes about it's business in the most unobtrusive manner, every journey seems too short! Period specification to include half leather and tweed upholstery, fully electric seats. The chairs are a delight, so much more appealing than leather and far more comfortable too. The headcloth is in near perfect order too. The interior is immaculate with no wear other features include climate control air conditioning, central locking, electric windows & mirrors, fog lamps, original
carpet mats. The original tool kit is all present and correct. No
modifications at all and as it rolled out the factory which makes it
all the sweeter.

Wheels & tyres
original 16" lattice alloys in perfect order each one wrapped with a Pirelli P600 tyres with deep treads and red growler centre caps.

Summary
Truly Exceptional condition and one should always buy on condition. The
car has been owned by a keen enthusiast and he was a dedicated Jaguar man of the old school brigade who cherished it.
Stored away from the elements it even had its own blanket for the engine,
prior to this he had a beautiful Mk 2 Jaguar, to say the car was his obsession would be an understatement and the condition is today to be marveled at.
